FAQs
Everything you're wondering.
Grouped by topic. If your question isn't answered here, our support team is a call or an email away.
Getting started
Dosely supports a wide range of non-urgent health concerns, follow-ups and symptom guidance. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your individual needs and recommend the most appropriate care. If in-person support is required, you'll be guided to the right next step.
No referral is required. Start with the free eligibility questionnaire, then book your initial consultation.
A free two-minute questionnaire covering how long your concern has been present, what you've already tried, and a few safety questions. No payment details are required. Being eligible to book does not guarantee that any particular care will be recommended; suitability is always determined by your practitioner during the consultation.
All practitioners available through Dosely are AHPRA-registered doctors and nurse practitioners delivering care in line with Australian healthcare standards.
Consultations
Consultation length varies depending on your health needs. Most appointments provide ample time for a thorough discussion of symptoms, medical history and personalised next steps. We deliberately don't run rushed, high-volume consultations.
Where clinically appropriate, practitioners may provide prescriptions, medical certificates or referrals. This is always at your practitioner's clinical discretion.
If your practitioner determines that a physical examination or urgent attention is needed, you will be advised to seek in-person care, with guidance or referrals provided to appropriate healthcare services.
Any phone, tablet or computer with a camera and an internet connection. Your booking confirmation includes a secure video link. No app installation required.
Pricing & refunds
Initial consultations are $49 and follow-ups are $29, with a 15% discount for eligible concession card holders. There are no memberships or subscription fees. See the Pricing page for full details.
If your practitioner determines during your initial consultation that Dosely is not able to appropriately care for you, we refund your consultation fee in full and, where possible, guide you towards a more appropriate care option.
Consultation fees are not refundable except under the clinical-suitability refund policy described above. If your practitioner completes your assessment and care through Dosely is clinically appropriate, the consultation has been provided in full.
Privacy & security
Absolutely. Dosely uses secure, encrypted systems to protect your personal and health information. Every consultation is confidential and complies with Australian privacy and healthcare data standards.
Your records are accessible to you and the practitioners involved in your care. We do not sell your data, and disclosure outside your care team only occurs where the law requires it or you authorise it.
Switching to Dosely
Yes. Our patient support team coordinates the transfer paperwork, including requesting your discharge letter and records from your current clinic, once you sign a simple authority form. Start with the free eligibility check and let us know you're switching.
Our concierge process is designed to keep things moving: we request your records promptly and book your Dosely consultation so your practitioner has your history in front of them. Timing of records transfer depends partly on your current clinic, but we chase it so you don't have to.
