Legal
Privacy Policy.
Effective 19 July 2026. This policy explains how AAP Ventures Pty Ltd, trading as Dosely ("Dosely", "we", "us"), collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information, including health information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
We collect personal information reasonably necessary to provide our telehealth services. This includes identity and contact details (name, date of birth, email, phone), health information you provide through our eligibility questionnaire, booking process and consultations (symptoms, medical history, medications, previous treatments), Medicare or concession card details where you provide them, records from other healthcare providers where you authorise a transfer, payment information (processed by our secure payment and practice-management providers; we do not store full card numbers), and technical information such as device type, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.
2. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you complete forms on our website, use the eligibility questionnaire, create a patient account, book or attend a consultation, or contact our support team. With your written authority, we also collect health records from your previous or current healthcare providers as part of our transfer service. Limited technical data is collected automatically when you browse our website.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to assess whether you can book a consultation, deliver practitioner-led telehealth care, maintain accurate clinical records, process payments and applicable concession discounts, coordinate transfers you request, respond to enquiries, meet our legal and professional obligations, and improve our website and services. We do not use your health information for direct marketing, and we will only send you marketing communications where the law permits and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we disclose it to
Your information is disclosed only as needed to deliver your care and operate our service: to the AHPRA-registered practitioners involved in your care; to our practice-management and booking platform provider, which processes patient accounts, appointments and payments on our behalf; to payment processors; to our website hosting and form-handling providers; to other healthcare providers you nominate or authorise (for example, during a clinic transfer or referral); and where disclosure is required or authorised by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles your personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Security and retention
We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls limiting records to those involved in your care, and secure Australian-standard systems. Health records are retained for at least seven years from your last service, or longer where the law requires, after which they are securely destroyed or de-identified.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@dosely.com.au or 03 9088 8779. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe we have breached your privacy, contact us first and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the website will continue to function.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
